What Information is Included in Our Sperm Donor Profiles?

At Cascade Cryobank, we are extremely selective in who we accept as sperm donors. By the time we have a donor’s samples ready to enter our catalog, we have evaluated them for a lot of information. The goal is to find a great collection of sperm donors that all pass our stringent testing and evaluations, and to have a good selection of sperm from people with diverse backgrounds.

So, by the time we enter their information into our catalog, we know a lot about them. Here’s a walk-through of our donor catalog and what to expect when you visit it:

Find a Donor Page

When you first arrive at our donor catalog (visit this link) you will be greeted by some initial information. This includes:

• A baby photo of the donor, because often the children look like one of the genetic parents, especially when younger.
• Whether they’ve opted in to Early Disclosure, Open ID, or if they are Anonymous donors.
• Physical characteristics, such as height, weight, eye color, hair color and type, complexion, ethnicity, country of residence, and education background.

Entering the Donor’s Individual Page

Once you see a donor that catches your eye, click on it and you will be taken to their full listing. Here’s a summary of what you will find:

• More photos, if the donor provided them.
• An area for options to purchase the vials.
• The same traits and characteristics as were on the previous page, plus a few more (such as blood type).
• An essay written by the donor about his family background, childhood, education, hobbies, passions, and why he chose to be a donor.
• Information about genetics, taken from all the testing we did prior to adding the donor to our catalog.
• Some general information about the donor’s personality type.
